Dashain Lunch
Objectives
- To generate funds from individuals to celebrate a little dashain with the displaced people.
- To provide emotional healing support by bringing together the displaced people to celebrate dashain.
Outcomes
- Dashain lunch is being organized for past 5 years.
- More than 800 displaced people are fed every year in these lunches.
- Individual donations from within the Nepali community make these events possible.
- Gifts for men, women and children are distributed in each dashain lunch.
